RM 7 Million Contract Awarded

Sumatec Resources Berhad, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Sumatec Corporation Sdn Bhd was awarded a RM 7 million EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning) contract by Petronas Ammonia Sdn Bhd to construct extension facilities for the existing Petronas Syngas Plant.  The contract involves engineering, supply of material, relocation and modification existing underground facilities, equipment installation works and commissioning.

The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the Group's overall earning and thus enhancing shareholder's value of SUMATEC over the duration of the contract periods.

None of the Board of Directors and major shareholders or person connected to the Directors and major shareholders has any direct or indirect interest in Petronas Ammonia Sdn Bhd.
